lol, I know, I have to talk myself into going but when I do I end up having a good time. Thanks for the comment, only had time to take a brief look at your blog but the little I saw was great, very funny. Will be checking it often to see how you’re faring with your fitness goals and to catch a picture of you shaking your groove thing in a cute beaded skirt. Go Zumba!

When I became a mother, the drive for perfection in all aspects of my life kind of went out the window. I decided then, that if I could at least be the perfect mother to my little son, I will be content and that I had succeeded as a human being. A year later, I quickly realize my reality – I cannot be a perfect mother. There are lots of factors beyond my control that ultimately creates a perfect mother. While I cannot attain perfect motherhood, I can be content and be satisfied by giving my very best to what I can control. I have given up on the idea that my home must be perfectly clean at all times – why? because my 1bedroom home is now the playground of an 18mos baby boy and his needs and development become the higher priority (what a great excuse for my messy home lol). In our pursuit for perfection, there is also possibility that we may hurt those we love unintentionally. Alofas sis!

Hi Lita,
thanks for confirming that, thought about asking him that during Q&A but then didn’t want to cause it was a mixed audience with some very young kids in attendance, you guys were sitting right behind us that night I believe, at least your parents anyway, chatted with them for a bit, turns out I know your mom, actually you have an aunt that’s married to my uncle, it’s true we Samoans are all connected one way or another.
